Obituary of Patricia Sue Heskett

Patricia Sue Heskett, a long-time resident of Chico, California, passed away February 17, 2022, at the age of 85.

Patricia was born to Thomas Wesley and Julia Mae Williams in Gainesville, Texas on October 15, 1938. Her rich legacy includes her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister, niece, and nephew.

Patricia loved her role as wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. The “hostess with the mostess,” she excelled in making others feel welcome, loved, and appreciated. She loved teaching and playing with her children and grandchildren and was always up for the next fun adventure. Patricia invested in the lives of middle school students as a home economics teacher at Bidwell Junior High in Chico for 30 years. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, and reading.

Patricia served faithfully in her church and supported her late husband, Kenneth Heskett, as they led a small group Bible study for many years. Her goal was to walk with God through each day. She set an example by reading God’s Word, praying continually, and offering gentle, wise counsel to friends and family.

A woman connected to God, Patricia loved God, family, and life. She showed us all how to live life with extraordinary impact.
