Obituary of Charles Fernandez

Charles Allen Fernandez passed away on March 3rd, 2024.

He was born January 3, 1954, to Al and Eva Fernandez in Los Angeles California.

He graduated from high school in LA and met his wife and best friend Shelley Caswell. Shelley and Charlie moved to Durham California, married in 1985 and lived a happy life in Durham ever since.

Charlie was employed with Stapleton and Spence packing plant where he was a manager of the plant. After retiring he got to enjoy the life he deserved. He loved to go fishing in the Sacramento River and local creeks and lakes. He enjoyed cooking gardening and working on cars. He took pride in restoring a 1967 Chevy pickup truck.

He was a hard-working industrious man and a great husband with many good friends that he enjoyed spending time with.

He is survived by his wife Shelley and his sister Delia Fernandez of Long Beach California.

Charlie will be greatly missed by all who touched his life.
